Winter is Coming. Get Fit to Win.

It’s cold this week in Miami, so I’ve styled this Miami Streetwear outfit from some items I found on Seam, for cooler weather with Miami style.

Base Piece

The base classic piece is the white jeans from Acne Studios. Tapered stretch denim with mid-rise five pocket styling, accented by silver-tone and antiqued copper-tone hardware. Acne Studios is dropping some of the hottest denim in the streetwear game right now. White jeans are always dope in Miami.

Interest Piece

The interest piece is the Snow Leopard Reversible Sherpa Jacket from Ovadia & Sons. Sherpa jackets are a fire trend this fall and will be in winter 2020. The animal print, plus the white, black, and red color pallet epitomizes two of the strongest fashion trends this season.

Connecting Piece

The connection piece is the Common Projects Tan Suede Chelsea Boots. Common Projects makes great leather-based footwear with clean designs. Their quality to price ratio is on point, making their shoes worth the investment over other high fashion footwear brands. It’s important to note the tan used in the outfit. I didn’t style it with black sneakers and white soles, because I think that would make the outfit too monochromatic. The tan color is inspired by the Miami Beach sand, and neutral color balances the warmth of the red in the jacket. This creates are more well rounded color profile. In general, wearing white jeans and tan boots looks dope in Miami.

Completing the Look

I’ve included a few other pieces to make this outfit a complete ready to wear look. The light grey Onia swim t-shirt is perfect for Miami, inspired by beach life, and incredibly soft. Once you buy an Onia t-shirt, you’ll be hooked. I was drawn to the tapered styling of the white Jogger Hoodie from Satisfy Running. This type of styling is really popular in Miami and streetwear in general. The red Balencia socks give the fit a little unexpected detail and color pop to pick up on the red detail from the interest piece. If you’re like me you’re always carrying a camera and a water bottle. So you can do that with this Transparent PVC Monoprint bag from Maison Margeila. PVC material and Monoprint are both notable trends in high fashion at the moment. Finish the look with a pair of Silver Metal Round Glasses from Balenciaga. The glasses will give you a certain gravitas on these cloudy days when you don’t need your sunnies. Round shape glasses are hot right now, and Balenciaga as a brand is on fire.

The photos in the background give inspiration for this outfit. Walking on the South Beach sand wearing off-white and neutral. The weather was changing and it was too cold to wear board shorts. Dreaming of my next snowboarding trip, looking back at me shredding Breckinridge on my Arbor board. Minimalistic Dali inspired abstract photography. Typography precedent from my latest mood board at my digital media agency. And a snap from Shhh… one of my favorite bars in South Beach at the moment.
